Is this kid really old enough to play soccer? Yes, it is true. What's another 1 or 2 or 3 soccer games and practices a week.... so far so good. He has had 2 games and been pretty excited about both of them, regardless of our crappy weather this spring (our yard is still under water). He is the youngest on the team, so that means not a lot of ball handling, but he is good at running up and down the field.Zack and Colin have also started their seasons. We are enjoying them so far. McKena has no interest and that is fine with me. She is participating in the drama club at school. They have been working on the play "Annie" all year, and they will perform it next week. Hopefully there will be pictures of that in a future post. Colin and McKena also have a piano recital next week.
I am busy trying to prepare my 25 piano students for an upcoming recital. I haven't even set the date yet, I am dragging my feet for some reason. Well, I know the reason--the recital venue I like to use has gone out of business and I'm just not quite sure where I want to have it. We have grown too big for the good ol' relief society room. Dang. Other than this I cannot say that I am accomplishing much--just a lot of laundry. We did enjoy a trip to my parents' house in Washington for spring break. We had a great visit with cousins. I forgot to take the camera, but it was nice to get away for a few days.
