Here are some of my favorite Christmas things. Pottery barn stockings found at Downeast for half price, the tree (the kids are still mad at me because I skipped their ornaments this year-I had big plans of putting up 2 trees), and my plate that I made at Super Saturday.

Some Christmas Decorations

Ready for church
Colin's Birthday Bash
We started Colin's birthday festivities with a family party on Thursday night. Greg and Jen came to have cake and ice cream with us. Then we rushed off to pack meeting. At least when I asked Colin what he wanted for his birthday dinner he picked corndogs, so that saved us some time. I was more than happy to throw those in the oven.
We were sure that Grandmas and Grandpas would want to see Colin modeling his new t-shirt. (A Kohls bargain at $3.20)
The boys at the birthday party had fun playing football in the back yard. We are glad Colin is 8!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Well here we are on Thanksgiving morning frantically trying to get out of the house on time. I always think I have allowed myself enough time but the rolls were still in the oven, Zack needed to change his t-shirt, and I still needed to put some gel in their hair. We made it though, and had a very tasty dinner with the Halls. We hope you all had a good day too!

October's over already?
Here we are, October 27th, and I am wondering where the month went. We did a lot of fun things this month. Zack finished his soccer season undefeated, Colin and Zack had a costume piano recital, McKena had her Halloween party at preschool last week, and Kade is finally saying a couple of words (mom, dad, shoes, and ball). We spent a week playing with Brooke, Gunnar, and Campbelle. We had a lot of fun shopping all while trying to keep the kids happy. We did go to a couple of parks. We were sad to see them go. Last night we went to the haunted corn maze. It wasn't as good as a couple of years ago. This next week the kids are out of school and I don't have piano lessons. Halloween is Wednesday and we will probably do the usual Halloween carnival here in town. The pictures are the result of Kade falling off the cement steps, and thankfully, this injury is healed. The dogbite is about healed, but yesterday he sliced his finger of the grater. I wonder what age they start to develop common sense? He is very fun and we are trying to enjoy every minute.
