Kade's 1st and 2nd Birthdays

Today we celebrate 3 whole years with this little guy. I can't imagine our lives without him! He is so fun to have around and he provides much entertainment for all of us.

I've been debating this for awhile, and I finally decided to try it for the summer. So far it has been great--a PERM (for McKena, that is)!

Happy Birthday John!

We love you!

Weekend Fun

Zack's soccer team was able to get some good deals on tickets to a Real Salt Lake soccer game, so we loaded up the family, met up with some cousins, and enjoyed a beautiful evening at the game. The kids had a great time!

Simple Things

Today I am thankful for some simple things. I'm thankful for a break from the rain (although it's coming later this afternoon), flowers that bloom in the spring, and my home and family. Life is good!

Spring Dance Recital and 3rd Grade Program

We had so much fun at McKena's first dance recital! Pretty elementary moves, but I'm pretty sure she's already showing more coordination than her mother. We also enjoyed Colin's 3rd grade program on Friday. His part was as a Japanese Taiko Drummer. He picked the largest drum of all--he could barely push it on and off the stage.

Road Show Night

Every couple of years our Stake has each ward put on a road show. I'm sure this is a lot of work for someone, but I sure enjoyed watching a few of them last night. Each ward was assigned a "decade"--ours was the 50's. McKena and a few other girls did a little dance to "lollipop". It was pretty cute. Unfortunately, I did not make the time to whip up a poodle skirt for her. She was sad about that. Maybe next time I will ask my wonderful seamstress mother-in-law, she'd really appreciate it.
