There is really no explanation for this picture, only questions of "what was I thinking?" I don't know if you can tell, but there are 12, yes 12 boys around this table. We ate pizza and then headed off to the movie uptown. Well, the boys wanted to "walk" which consisted of all of them running through the dark streets, then they split up at the corner and we really couldn't keep track. Upon arriving at the theater, they were dodging across the street at all times, through the very busy movie traffic. Then, do you think 9 yr old boys know how to wait in line? No, they're crowding at the door--I had to call them back to wait their turn. Once inside, I gave them a lecture about finding their seats and staying in them--not to go in and out, in and out. They found their seats and then went to get treats (because pizza before and cake after would certainly not be enough). All did stay seated during the movie and we quite enjoyed it. Afterwards, we did have one that needed to find his girlfriend and profess his love to her, but then we were back on the road. This time, about 9 crowded illegally into the van and some 3-4 random went running down the dark streets ( not on the sidewalks). Upon arriving home, one that had run home was having an asthma situation but he told me he was okay. I heard him grunting and gasping upstairs so I thought I'd better check on him and he was okay, he was just doing some push-ups (is that the cure for an asthma attack?) Oh, ten year old boys are funny. I think on Zack's actual birthday, Monday, we will be keeping it pretty low-key! Karalee, for your info, this is who was at the party: Nick, Drew, Bradey & Zack Kimber, Stockton, Christian, Trevor, Burke A. (Cove) Connor L. (Cove) Austin G. (Newton)

You are lucky I don't know their mothers! I might let them know what kind of a supervisor you are. It looks like lots of fun. Happy Birthday Zackary!! And might I add you are efficient, that was just last night and here you've already blogged it!
