So it was with much anticipation and fanfare (you can tell from the picture can't you?) that we sent these boys off to their first day of school today. Zack starting 5th grade (his last year at elementary) and Colin starting 3rd. Kade makes the cut just because he gave a good cheezy smile. We are not sending Kade to school yet. He'll be my only company come afternoons next week, when McKena starts kindergarten.

Oh come on, I think you should send Kade with them. He would make it so much more interesting for the teachers. Good luck at school Zack and Colin. Keep up the reading records and the good grades.

So cute. How did their first day go? Why wouldn't Colin like riding a horse? What's not to love? McKena makes a beautiful ballerina, how fun to add that girly activity to the schedule.
